Day 58

Today we continue from yesterday, keep putting collar ties. For a while we could put them up with same way we did yesterday. Laid the ladder from first floor to the collar tie we just nailed. However, our dining room was too small, we need to find another way. So we decided to start putting braces on both corner and center of collar tie. That make rafter not to move. Then we can approach more collar tie from our attic.

今日は引き続きカラータイをつけるところから。しばらくは一階から昨日と同じ方法でとめたばかりのカラータイにはしごを立てかけて作業をしていたが，あーダイニングが狭すぎたか，これ以上は無理。ということで，とりあえず屋根裏に上り，それぞれの垂木を１６インチ毎にとめて行くことに。これで，カラータイがしっかりして上に乗れるので、屋根裏からのアプローチができるはず。
Unfortunately, it was one person job. What I can do is to take photos from below... Anyway, we tied each rafter till about half of them.

残念ながらこれは一人作業。私は下から写真を撮るだけ。。。とにかく，半分くらい終わった。
