Spring 2015 class schedule!

Let’s blow the winter away! Art Farm is back from hibernation ready for the Spring classes. This time, we offer a trial workshop that introduces Japanese culture, and a two weekend class for you who are eager for more. Please check them out! Do you have something else you would lke to make? Our “One day handbuild- ing class” is open for you, too! No experience necessary! 



One day group handbuilding classes 
March 2nd ~ June 13th/ 2015     

You can make an unique handmade gift that you would never be able to buy in the store for somebody special. You can use your very own tableware for a get together. You can decorate your house with an art piece you made. It’s not only what you make that is special, but the experience itself will be priceless! A great activity for family and friends. There is no theme, just bring your ideas! 

Monday-Friday 9:30-11:30, 1:00- 3:00, 3:30-5:30 
Saturday 1:00-3:00

Minimum 2 people, 6 people maximum $25 per person
2lbs of clay, glaze, firing fee included $10 for each additional 2 lbs of clay 


Please send me (Momoko Cotter) an email to register including your name and two choices of what date and time you would like. I will let you know if your requested time is open or occupied, and get back to you as soon as possible with more information. 


Handbuilding Workshop
We also offer workshops! But don’t wait, the table is 6 people maximum! 

Workshops will run if 2 or more people sign up. All classes are $25 person and include 2lbs of clay, glaze, and firing fee unless it’s listed. +$10 for additional 2 lbs of clay.

What do you need spoon for? Flour, coffee beans, suger and salt. How about little colander spoon for olives? We can make as many as you need in time!

Are you a tea person? This will make your tea time way more special!

Bottle   
Bottle for oil and vineger, or your own wiskey bottle. It will look nice just as a room decoration and with a flower, too.

Condements jar    
Suger, salt, honey. You can make one of the must have items on the table by yourself.

Ceramic caolander/ Berry bowl    
Get ready for the berry harvest? Let’s make a pretty ceramic colander to go directly on the table.

Fuurin (Japanese wind chime)    
This is the season for Japanese hanging wind chime called Fuurin. Delightful sound played by wind is calming. Here is a link to website you can learn about Fuurin little bit.

Clock   
Clock is something to catch your eye often in your room. Let’s make a unique functional decoration. Clock parts are provided.
$35 person include 3lbs of clay, glaze, firing fee, and clock parts.

Two days Workshop
Teapot   
It’s not as difficult as you imagine! We will use two days for this workshop, so we won’t rush. We will make body and parts on day 1, attach them and decorate on day 2. Make sure you have both days available!! 
$45 person for two days include 3lbs of clay, glaze, and firing fee.

Japanese food and tableware : Noodle bowl    
Are you interested in adding a new repertoire recipe? How about Japanese food? We will have a Udon (soup noodle)! Day 1: We will make a large soup bowl. I will finish firing pieces by Day 2 the cooking day so we can eat food in our own special bowls! Make sure you have both days available. You can learn about Udon here
$45 person for two days include 2lbs of clay, and cooking ingredients. 4 people maximum

Please register by a week before the class is scheduled to begin.

**Cancelation may occar due to inclement weather.** 
**kids ages 8 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult** 
**Please allow a month to finish firing and processing. If you intend to make your piece as a gift, please keep this time schedule in mind. **

Candle holders


Making candle holders, and get ready for Holidays!
きたるホリデー用のキャンドルホルダーのクラス。


We made both tea light candle holders and candle stands. The light shine through is really pretty. 
ろうそく立てとキャンドルホルダーの両方を作った。
