Day 50

Today is the day that Josh's brother Jeff goes back to Korea. Bob and Marilyn drove him to the airport in the morning. The first day when Jeff came to see our house, we were working on floor sheeting on first floor. And the day he left, we are working on rafter. Impress!

Anyway, today was the day for lighter work. We put hurricane strap on each rafter. Detail, but very important.

今日は夏休みで帰ってきていたジョッシュの弟ジェフが韓国に帰ってしまう日。朝ボブとマリリンは空港まで送りに行った。ジェフが韓国から帰ってきて初めて家を見にきたときは，１階の床張りをしていたのに、彼が帰るときは屋根作りなんて，感心！

ともかく，今日は軽めの仕事。細かいことやけど，この辺りではとても大切なハリケーンストラップという金具を一つ一つ垂木に打ち付ける。
Then we asked Inspector Dick to come over to check about porch on west side of house. Also asked about lots of different thing. Thank you so much Dick! Teaching us how to do the valley in the space where we call jail.

その後監察官ディックに来てもらい西側に作る予定のポーチについて相談。している間にあれやこれやと細かい質問がでてくる。ひとつひとつ丁寧に教えてもらいました。ディック，いつもありがとう。私たちが牢屋と呼んでいる小さな四角の中で谷になる部分について説明をうける。
