Day 39

Since we will start new process, we asked Architect Dick to come over and give us a tip. Cute car! We got a word "good job for bunch of amateurs". Yhay! But next step, it was hard for me to follow. We weren't sure how to start, but just need to do one by one that came up to you. The roof has to be square. So we measured all sides. Bob calculated the length of angle. Hmmm it is shorter than the figured number. Anyway let's measure the other angle. It was a same number. Forget about calculation, same number for both angles means it is square!

新しい作業に入るので建築家ディックにアドバイスをくれるようにきてもらった。なんとかわいい車！フィアットのエンジンに別の外側らしい。素人の固まりにしてはようやっとるとのお言葉。やた！次の作業の説明をしてくれるがなかなか理解できん。どこから手をつけたものか、、、とりあえず思いつくことからすこしずつこなす。屋根はきちんと四角にならないといけないので、とりあえず全部の辺を測ってみる。ボブが三角計算をして斜めの長さを出したものの測った長さと違う。９０度じゃないのか。。。ちょっとそれはさておき、もう一方の斜めを測ってみる。お！一緒の長さ。計算で出した数は忘れよ。両方の斜めが一緒の長さということは四角やん！
It take time to make our worries clear, but logic give us a confidence. What we accomplish today was just finish up the floor, tear off the 2x6 that we nailed while ago, and put it back, and nailed some more 2x6 on east side and part of west. This 2x6 will be the places for roof framing to sit. Tomorrow we will start walls.

不安を少しずつ解消していくのに時間はかかるけど、一個一個論理的に確かめていき、自信につなげようとする。今日したことは床の仕上げ、以前打ち付けた２x６をはがす。同じ場所に少し違う要領で別の２x６を打ち付ける。東側全部と西の一部に２x６を打ち付けただけ。これが屋根ののるところになる。明日から壁です。
