4th July

Happy July 4th. We had a first friends visited from Chicago! Billy and April are one of the people who let us stay their house after we had a fire in our apartment in Chicago. They are one of my favorite people. They had a family house in middle of nowhere, about 30 minutes away from ours. In Japan we can get fire works all year round 24 hours, but here we only can do fire works in this few month for the July 4th. It was fun. I think I can wait till next year. We got a special big one for the finale. Very dramatic. I lost my distance sense. I love the way we drove. Look Missouri is pretty hilly interesting land.

独立記念日に初めてのシカゴからの友達がきました！ビリーとエイプリルは私たちのシカゴのアパートが火事になったときにしばらく居候をさせてもらった人たちのうちの一つ。そのおかげかすごく仲良くなりました。なんと彼の家族の家がここから３０分くらいの田舎に。７／４といえば花火。日本ではいつでも２４時間手に入るけど、ここではこの１、２ヶ月しか買うことができない。フィナーレ用のでかい花火も買って一年に一回を満喫。でかい打ち上げ花火は近くでしすぎたのか、距離感がなくてやけに劇的でちょっと怖かった。彼らのところにいくルートはアップダウンがあって気に入った。
Of course they visited our house too. It was nice day off.

もちろん家にもきましたよ。久々の休日。
