Day 28

Today we finished first floor walls! Building wall was complicated and frustrated than floor, but also it is more fun. I enjoyed seeing our cozy rooms stands up little by little. It was fun to see this process, and progress everyday.

Today was a nice cloudy morning. I think we accomplished a lot. We made entrance closet wall, mud room closet, and bathroom closet. Then we nailed 2x4 on top to tie all walls together. We had nice team work.

一階の壁のフレーム完成しました！壁作りは床よりややこしくて、イラっとくることも多いけど、その分楽しかった。すこしずつ居心地のいいサイズの部屋が立ち上がって行く工程と経過は今まで経験したことがなかったし、興味深い。

午前中は曇りで涼しく、作業がはかどった。玄関のクローゼット、汚いもの部屋のクローゼット、お風呂場のクローゼット完成。その後すべての壁を２x４で固める。３人でなかなかよいチームワーク。
In the end, room was getting smaller. It got trickier to build walls. But after thousands of error, we got to think little bit more ahead than before. Maybe we can build second floor smoother.

最後の方になると、作業スペースが狭くてややこしくなったけど、何回も何回も何回も間違えたおかげでもう少し先を見越して作業ができるようになった。２階の壁はもう少しスムーズにできるはず。
This is mud room closet. There is a door to the back yard. We can have dirty boots, dirty gloves, dirty jacket, and dirty anything that you want to bring in. Sounds like a heaven.

This is the last piece for this first floor. Impress!

これは汚れてもいい部屋のクローゼット。裏庭へのドアがあり、汚いブーツ、汚い手袋、汚い上着、拾ってきた汚いものなど何でもここに置いとける天国のような部屋。

これが一階最後の板。すごーい。
