Day 35

Today and tomorrow Josh is working with us too. We finish boxing! We only cut out a door and a window on east side. To put up floor boards weren't so bad. One person stand up on second floor I joists. Two of us pushed the boards up. We were ready to start flooring, then realize our glue gun was messed up. It was so hot these days. The glue that had been attached was popped by the heat. We didn't realize till today, so it was already hard like a rock. Oh well, we need to drive brother Jeffery to Kansas city this afternoon. We can pick up glue gun. When we drove to Kansas city, temperature gets hotter and hotter. When we come back to the car, a thermometer of the car shows 118F. Holy Moly, it can't be true, but it was hot!

今日と明日はジョッシュも一緒に働けます。三人作業の外壁もできました。東側のドアと窓だけあけて、床板運びです。これも三人なら割とすんなり。一人が２階に立って、後の二人が一階から押し上げます。次の作業に入る準備万端だったのに、グルーガンがめためたになってるのを発見。最近のこの猛暑のせいでグルーガンの中に入れておいたままにしてたのりの入れ物が破裂、グルーガンごと固まっていた。まあいっか、どうせ弟ジェフを後でカンザスシティーまで送っていかなあかんし、そんとき買って帰ったら。カンザスシティーまでドライブしてるときに車についてる温度計でどんどん気温が上がる。買い物行って車に帰ってきた直後に１１８度！感覚がわかないので温度計を摂氏に戻して４８度！えらいことや！ってそんな訳はないやろうけど暑かった。
