Day 54

It was rainy day today, but we were able to work little bit. Since Josh needed to go to school to clean/organize the class room, we started working on west gable that we can do with only two people. we want to meet this rafter to main rafter, also need 16" between as always. We found out where the first rafter is going to be on north side. Then start measure 16" from there. We made 2 bird's mouth patterns for north and south since it had a little bit of different. And about we were ready to cut, the sky got very dark.

今日は雨降りだったけど、朝少しだけ作業ができた。ジョッシュが美術室の片付けと整頓をしなければいけないので、二人でもできる西の切妻の垂木にかかることになった。ここの垂木とメインの垂木がちょうど合うようにしたいので、その一番西の垂木がどこにくるか導きだし、そこからいつも通り１６インチで測っていく。なぜかしら南北でほんの少しだけ高さが違うので型になる鳥口カットを二つ作る。ようやく垂木を切っていけるというときに空が真っ暗になってきた。
It was very strange cloud. The edge of black and white cloud was so sharp. Almost looks like sky is ended there. We only worked few hours until it start pouring. We can't work, so we went school to help Josh. It was disaster... But end of the day, finally it looks like a class room. Then what we did is....

We went to get kitties!! Ahh~ adorable... The big one we call Winston so far is about half years old. The little girl we call Hina so far is about 6,7 weeks old. Hina is one of the name I submit to my sister as candidate for her baby name. It rejected because that's the most popular name in Japan now, actually from my generation. Which means sunny warm area. It's suit for her yellow feather.

黒い雲と白い雲がパッキリと分かれた変な空模様。暗雲が切れたところで空が終わってるように見える。数時間作業をしたところで土砂降りになった。これでは無理なので学校に行ってジョッシュの手伝いをすることに。美術はめっちゃくちゃでえらいことになっていた。何時間か怒濤のように片付け、最終的には教室らしくなった。その後なんと。。。

知り合いに子猫をもらいにいってきました！あ〜かわいすぎる。大きい方は今のとこウィンストンという名前で生まれて半年くらい。ちいちゃい子は今のところ”ひな”と呼んでいて６、７週目。ひなは妹の赤ちゃんの名前にしようと企んでいたけれど、却下されたのでここで採用。今一番多いらしい。黄色の毛皮にぴったし。
